BioWorks Principle WP contains the live fungus Beauvaria bassiana Strain BW149 to control destructive crop pests in turf, ornamentals, food and non-food crops in greenhouse or field. The superior Beauvaria bassiana wettable powder formulation in PRINCIPLE WP offers best-in-class efficacy combined with improved mixability for better application and use.

Principle WP controls multiple life stages of the most prolific plant pests - whiteflies, thrips and aphids. It is also labeled to control harder to control pests including psyllids, mealybugs, beetles, weevils and even Grasshoppers.

Beauvaria bassiana, the active ingredient in Principle WP, is a live fungus that has been used in biocontrol for decades with success in insect control. When the fungal spores contact a host insect, they infect the pest with white muscardine disease. This sporulation colonizes the pest and leads to death in 24-96 hours. (Under appropriate conditions)
