Netafim Combination Air Relief Valves help maintain the proper operation of drip irrigation systems by automatically removing trapped air while allowing air to enter the system when needed. Proper air management helps maintain consistent water flow, reduces the risk of air locks, and improves irrigation system performance.
Netafim Combination Air Relief Valves combine air release and air intake functions in a compact, durable design with few moving parts, making them ideal for agricultural, greenhouse, nursery, vineyard, orchard and landscape irrigation systems. Air can enter irrigation systems when pumps lose prime, water levels fluctuate, leaks develop, or systems are filled and drained. If trapped air is not released, it can restrict water flow, create uneven irrigation, and reduce overall system efficiency.
- Combination air release and vacuum relief operation
- Automatically removes trapped air from irrigation systems
- Allows air to enter during system draining to help prevent vacuum conditions
- Durable engineered nylon construction
- Few mechanical parts for dependable, long-lasting performance
- Male Pipe Thread (MPT) connection
- Suitable for drip irrigation and micro-irrigation systems
Options:
1/2-Inch MPT: Compact combination air relief valve designed for smaller irrigation zones, branch lines, and micro-irrigation systems.
3/4-Inch MPT: Ideal for medium-sized drip irrigation systems requiring reliable air release and vacuum protection while maintaining consistent system performance.
Installation of air release products should be performed by a trained technician to ensure the correct product is selected and properly installed. Air vents are often installed before a water meter, after a pump, or at the high point of an irrigation system so that rising air will make its way out.
